Hello All, I hope you are well and ready to volunteer!
Most tax sites will be opening this coming week although there were some soft openings this past week. Though taxes cannot be E-filed until the 30th, some of the larger sites did not want to lose clients to high cost tax preparers.
1. While, I know that many of you have been contacted by tax site supervisors to schedule with them as tax preparers, I would like those who still want to be Financial Guides to communicate directly with me for the time being and then, maybe later on, with the Lead Guides.
You do not have to do taxes just because someone else contacted you – this was due to all volunteers, no matter the position, being lumped together.
2. If you have already communicated directly to me when and where you will be volunteering that is great. If you have not please do so ASAP!
